Experience ultra-fast data processing with the Keysight DAQ970A.

03/04/2026 14:46:21

The device incorporates a 6.5-digit multimeter, with a basic DC voltage accuracy of 0.003 percent per year. In full configuration, the system supports up to 120 channels and a scan rate of up to 450 channels per second when using solid-state switching modules.

When multiple measurement channels need to be recorded within the same system, requiring high accuracy and fast processing capabilities, the KEYSIGHT DAQ970A data processing unit is a suitable choice for R&D departments, component testing, and production lines.

Designed with 3 slots, easily expandable to suit different measurement needs

The DAQ970A has a main frame with 3 module slots, supporting a total of 9 types of switching and control modules. Users can configure it to measure temperature, voltage, current, resistance, or perform multi-point tests.

The device integrates LAN and USB ports, allowing control from a PC or access via an internal web browser. The 4.3-inch color screen displays measurements, trend graphs, bar graphs, and histograms directly on the device.

-Measures 14 types of signals in a single system

-Supports the following measurements:

-Temperature with thermocouple, RTD, and thermistor

-DC and AC voltage

-DC and AC current

-2-wire and 4-wire resistance

-Frequency and duty cycle

-Capacitance

-Diode testing

-Distortion

-6.5-digit resolution, equivalent to 22 bits, is suitable for high-precision measurements in laboratories and internal calibration.

Scans 450 channels per second at high speed, securely storing data

The maximum scanning speed reaches 450 channels per second. With the 4-channel DAQM909A module, the sampling rate reaches up to 800 kSa per second at 24-bit resolution, suitable for dynamic signal measurements or waveform analysis.

Internal memory stores up to 1 million measurements. The device retains up to 100,000 results even after power loss. Users can export data directly to a USB flash drive for storage or transfer configuration to another system.

Set up separate alerts for each measurement channel

Each channel can have its own independent high and low limits. When the value exceeds the threshold, the system activates a TTL alarm output to connect to an external alarm system or automated production line.

The scaling factor allows for unit conversion such as PSI or RPM directly on each channel, convenient for monitoring pressure, rotational speed, or other industrial parameters.

Suitable for R&D, component testing, and production monitoring

The DAQ970A is used in:

- Multi-point temperature data logging in environmental test chambers

- Batch testing of electronic components

- Voltage and current monitoring in production lines

With high accuracy, flexible scalability, and fast processing speed, the DAQ970A is well-suited for multi-channel measurements in professional engineering environments. It is a suitable choice when a stable data acquisition system is needed and easily integrated into existing infrastructure.

Which products are tested using a -40°C to +150°C thermal shock chamber?
07/22/2026 14:45:25

Automotive circuit boards, sensors, modules, and plastic components can all experience issues after repeated transitions between cold and hot environments. A thermal shock chamber operating from -40°C to +150°C enables the replication of these temperature fluctuations under controlled testing conditions.

Does thermal shock cause damage to electronic components?
07/22/2026 10:40:49

An electronic component may operate stably under constant temperature conditions yet fail after repeated rapid transitions between hot and cold. The issue typically stems not from a specific temperature level, but rather from the rate of temperature change and the number of hot-cold cycles

An MRI system may be correctly installed and fully connected to the power supply, yet still encounter issues if the surrounding environment fails to meet technical specifications. Electromagnetic interference, RF shielding, power quality, grounding, temperature, humidity, and particulate levels are all factors that may require assessment, depending on the facility's design and the manufacturer's requirements.

Sinusoidal and Random Vibration: A Test Setup Guide for Industrial Engineers

During the operation of industrial machinery or the transportation of goods, persistent mechanical vibrations inevitably occur; these are a primary cause of material fatigue, loosened connections, and cracking in printed circuit boards (PCBs). To ensure product integrity before delivery to customers, R&D and QA/QC engineers must simulate these dynamic forces using vibration test systems.

Capacities of laboratory centrifuge tubes

Tubes with capacities of 0.2 ml, 1.5 ml, 15 ml, or 50 ml are commonly found in laboratories, yet each type is associated with specific sample categories and equipment configurations. DNA and RNA samples typically require small-volume microtubes; blood and cell samples often utilize 5 ml or 15 ml tubes; while large-volume processing workflows may require tubes of 50 ml, 100 ml, or greater capacity
