Keysight Technical Seminar: Enhancing Manufacturing Efficiency for Next-Generation PCBs and Electronic Components

03/13/2026 14:58:43

EMIN, in collaboration with Keysight Technologies, organized a technical workshop titled "Improving the Efficiency of Next-Generation PCB and Electronic Component Manufacturing," sharing technology trends in the AI ecosystem and measurement and testing solutions applied in manufacturing environments.

Today's high-performance electronic systems demand more complex PCB circuit boards, more advanced processes, and high connection speeds with very high stability.

In this context, electronics manufacturing businesses in Vietnam are presented with opportunities for significant expansion, while also facing new challenges in design and testing. Resistivity testing on PCBs, ensuring signal integrity in high-speed connections, or selecting appropriate test configurations for gateway systems have become critical issues in the manufacturing process.

To share new technological trends and practical experiences in the field of measurement and testing, EMIN, in collaboration with Keysight, organized a technical workshop on the topic "Improving the Production Efficiency of Next-Generation PCBs and Electronic Components". The program provided an overview of new technical requirements in the AI ecosystem and introduced measurement solutions that can be directly applied in manufacturing environments.

Event information:

Time: Tuesday, March 31, 2026 | 13:30 – 17:15

Location: Vinpearl Hotel Bac Ninh

The event is expected to bring together technical experts from Keysight along with the community of engineers and electronics design and manufacturing professionals working in factories and R&D centers in Vietnam.

Highlights of the workshop

At the program, attendees will be updated on topics currently receiving significant attention in the electronics manufacturing industry.

One of the key topics will be methods for simulating and measuring impedance for next-generation PCBs. This is a crucial factor in ensuring the performance of high-speed electronic systems, especially in AI-related applications.

In addition, the program will analyze the rapid development of AI data center infrastructure and the new requirements for optical transceivers and related manufacturing processes. Experts will share further insights on measurement and testing requirements for high-speed connections, including measurement configurations for multi-port and multi-channel systems.

The final part of the workshop focused on calibration services for measuring instruments, along with some practical experiences to help maintain the accuracy and stability of the equipment during use.

Expected program

Benefits of Attending:

In addition to the professional content, the program also offers several benefits to attendees:

Grab voucher worth VND 200,000 for the first 50 attendees.

Networking program: a VND 200,000 voucher for each person who invites a colleague to attend the event.

Voltage Drop and Sudden Power Output Loss in Factory Rooftop Solar Systems: 4 Warning Signs Requiring Investigation
09/07/2026 11:02:08

When a factory equipped with a rooftop solar array experiences a sudden drop in power output, it often sparks a dispute between the facility's electrical team and the solar installation contractor, with each side prone to blaming the other. The quickest way to resolve such a conflict is to accurately interpret the signs on-site—avoiding guesswork and refraining from hastily blaming the solar panels.

Mastering Open-Circuit Voltage (Voc) and Short-Circuit Current (Isc) Testing for Solar Panels: An Engineer's Standard
09/07/2026 09:33:07

A solar panel reports a drop in output, yet the entire array continues to operate normally where does the fault lie? The answer often becomes apparent the moment a field engineer measures two fundamental parameters: open-circuit voltage (Voc) and short-circuit current (Isc). These two figures make it possible to isolate faults whether in the panel itself, the wiring, or the charge controller without needing to disconnect the entire string from the system. This article details the standard engineering measurement procedure and explains how to interpret the results, eliminating guesswork when troubleshooting panel issues.

In many automated workshops, control systems occasionally experience issues where output signals freeze or become unstable, or fail to accurately detect minuscule components passing through narrow gaps on the conveyor belt, causing the machining process to halt abruptly without an apparent root cause.
