The SCS 770045 EOS/ESD Assessment Kit offers an effective way to detect ESD events, troubleshoot, and verify that the ESD control processes are working properly. The devices included in the kit identify EOS (electrical overstress) and ESD (electrostatic) generators. The kit includes the following instruments:

• Resistance Pro Meter Kit to measure resistance point-to-point (Rtt) or surface to ground (Rtg) in accordance with ESD Association Standard ANSI/ ESD S4.1.

• Handheld Electrode to measure Floor Materials and Footwear - Resistance Measurement in Combination with a Person (ANSI/ESD STM97.1).

• EM Eye - ESD Event Meter to detect, count and measure ESD events that can damage ESD items and cause tool lock-ups, erratic behavior and parametric errors.

• Ground Pro Meter to confirm that an AC electrical outlet’s wiring is correct and the path to equipment ground conductor (the green wire) is intact and to measure ground impedance in accordance with ANSI/ESD S6.1 and ANSI/ESD S20.20 required limits.

• Static Sensor with Air Ionizer Test Kit to measure static fields and offset voltage (balance) and charge decay of ionization equipment.

• ESD Training Paddle Set to demonstrate the creation of static charges and the functionality of ESD control products.
